Three famous temples of the same name in a city

Linh Ung Pagoda at Son Tra peninsula

Linh Ung Pagoda is best known in Danang, located on the Son Tra peninsula. From the city center, visitors can cross Han bridge and then turn left or towards Thuan Phuoc bridge about 10 km to the northeast. The pagoda is located in a beautiful location, on a hill at an altitude of nearly 700 m, behind the back is a primeval forest and facing the sea.

Visitors to the pagoda will not see the mossy architecture, ancient, but instead are large-scale, modern works. The most impressive is the statue of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, 67 meters high, on a giant lotus throne. Inside the statue is 17 storey tower, visitors can go up to panoramic view of the temple with 18 Arhat statue under the yard, or zoom out to enjoy the beauty of convergence between heaven and earth.

Linh Ung Pagoda on the top of Ba Na

Linh Ung Pagoda on Ba Na peak is located at an altitude of nearly 1,500 m. Compared with the Son Tra peninsula, the pagoda is more ancient, reminiscent of the temple of Bac Bo with curved roof tile, large stone paved front yard and the rows of dragons.

However, the temple also has many differences and impressive. The first is a pine tree with three different leaves in front of the temple, followed by a magnificent white statue of Buddha of 27 m in the temple compound. The statue is carved with meditation sitting on the lotus, face of compassion. Take the cable car to the top of Ba Na, visitors will easily recognize the white mussel stand out on the blue sky, surrounded by clouds floating like a place of birth.

Linh Ung Pagoda in Ngu Hanh Son

The third temple named Linh Ung is located in Hoa Hai ward, Ngu Hanh Son district, on the way from Da Nang to Hoi An. The pagoda is also known as the pagoda outside, opposite Tam Thai pagoda - Trong pagoda located on Thuy Son island. Although many times restored, but now the temple still retain the sacred beauty in time imprint.

Just like the two temples above, the Linh Ung Pagoda also places a white Buddha statue, a mountain back, facing the temple, creating a pure space.
